God Most Nigh

A Thrill of Hope:

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And it’s here - It’s Christmas time again! Every year we wait in anticipation for this time of the year. Anticipation was what characterized the first Christmas. In our anticipation we look forward to the gifts, time with family, the colorful look of lights and well decorated trees and homes, the sound of Christmas carols. In this series, “A Thrill of Hope,” we explore the deep spiritual message that is wrapped up in the common Christmas carols. The stories behind the music teach us a whole lot about how best to meet the anticipation of Christmas every year. Experience “A Thrill of Hope.”

VISION

MISSION

To reach people from all walks of life with the love and grace of God in Christ Jesus

Jesus came so that we can have life and life abundant. That’s worth celebrating. We celebrate what God is doing without worrying about being offended or being offensive. We express our celebration through praise, worship, hand clapping, through testimony, and sharing God’s word for edification.

We purpose to be a church where connectedness is highly prioritized through embracing all members of the body of Christ and acknowledging each individual as a necessary part. Where those within the body intentionally seek to connect with those who are not connected to Christ by loving and embracing people from all walks of life.

We purpose to be a church where people care for one another, treat each other with kindness and respect while helping those in need. Where compassion is evidenced by loving, serving, and providing for people facing challenges or in difficult situations.

We task ourselves with being a faith community where cultivation of individual and collective spiritual growth is the highest goal of all ministry and relational environments. Where spiritual maturity is inspired by the sound biblical teaching and intentional high level relational accountability.
